Hi, I recently bought one of the TSSPi V2 boards. Nice ones and fully compatible with OpenSprinkler 2 software. So no complains there. But It's a bit dificult to traceback all the used pins and connections. especially the used GPIO pins and the 24v AC to 5 V DC part is bothering me. because I think the LM2596S isn't working as it should be.

so @TheOne do you have the schemas somewhere? there not on the WIKI..

Same problem - I don;t think the +5 volt supply is working correctly. I am trying to use a RPI4 and the +5V rail is at something like 4.87v. It dips below 4.75v after the RPI video test patter comes up, which triggers a reset. So with an RPI4 it's a bootloop situation.

Same issue here, need schematic. Something is shorted and need to troubleshoot .

See my other post on this forum. the board will work with a RPI4 if you add a wire between the positive terminal of C2 and pins 16 and 18 of PI-10 (these are the +5V supply pins for the RPI4).

The +5V distribution on the sprinkler board is pretty bad. the trace widths are too narrow, so when you plug in a RPI4, the current draw by the RPI4 causes so much IR drop that the RPI won't boot.

Finally, it wouldn't surprise me if the switching regulator had to be loaded in order to regulate properly...

Had one of the outputs fail on. Can we please get a schematic?

Does anyone from tiao even pay attention to these posts??
