I'm having no luck in using FTDI VCP (2.4.2) driver on the TUMPA. I'm running OS X 10.12.6 (Sierra). I have followed the TAIO wiki on installing and starting the .kext. I load the .kext using 'sudo kextload /Library/Extensions/FTDIUSBSerialDriver.kext', but it gets unloaded after 10mins or so according to 'kextstat'. The .kext is unsigned, so I have run 'csrutil disable'. The device isn't shown under 'ioreg' either (plugging and unplugging produce same output).
I've also tried AppleUSBFTDI, but to no avail.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I've fixed it now. It was a bad USB cable!
