Brad
I'm trying to access the serial port of a Compex WP188 board (an access point). The board manual says this requires a high impedance (HiZ) TTL serial cable. Aside from the exorbitantly priced stock cable, the only multiprotocol adapter I see used to access this (now very old) board is the Bus Pirate which has a selectable high impedance mode. The TUMPA seemed more popular and I ordered it instead thinking it was surely capable of the same. I'm not completely a newbie to this but I obviously need an education as I've tried nine ways to Sunday to get some sort of ACK in Teraterm and I get nothing. What am I missing? Have I bought the wrong tool?
