Just received my smart sprinkler controller on Thursday, Aug 26th and it comes with 2.3 but reading forums on opensprinkler.com it looks like 2.1.6 is the newest? If this is true help me understand the numbering system please.

Hardware is 2.3, software is 2.1.6
