for WRT54GL unbricked
i have connected jtag cable this toturial

i have wrt54gl router only pin 3,5,7,9 and 6 for GND

is fine and works

without usb

with parallel

i have this cmd : tjtag3.exe -erase:nvram and tjtag3.exe -erase:kernel

and you can now reflash with
tftp.exe

i am fine now that its worked

what clue you need?

I have one wrt350n v1.0 and no parallel port in my PC :-\ , can I use only the USB mini with Buffered mode setup???

No, you have to have access to parallel port as the mini usb is only for power.

Hello,
I'am new here and bought also the universal jtag adapter, but i have a problem with my flash memory. It is not recognized by the latest Tjtag v3 software. On my bcm6348 based router board there is an Macronix flash type MX29LV640MBTC-90 and is 16MB large. When i do tjtag3 -probeonly i get the following message. Unknown or no FLASH chip detected and at the end *** REQUESTED OPERATION IS COMPLETED ***. What can i do so my flash chip is been recognized. I'am working with TjTAGv3 under windows XP SP3. In the universal TJTAG manual my Flash chip is not mentioned. Has somebody a idea to solve this problem.

pS. I have used the /FC:47 switch but that gives the wrong device id, see attached datasheet of the mx29lv640mbtc-90 flashchip.
PS i have attached 2 files made with the following commands.
1- tjtag3 -probeonly /flash_debug
2- tjtag3 -probeonly /nodma /flash_debug
