Black Flash USB+ Driver issue windows 10 Pro 64 bit

I downloaded the latest Prolific Driver "PL2303_Prolific_DriverInstaller_v1_12_0" and I cannot get rid of the Excalmation point in Device Manager so I cannot install the other driver (Atmega) until I can figure out what is going on here?
Also one of the two devices has a broken pin, I think its broke off the Momentary Button, one side. Order #201602192937

Yes I followed guide but used the latest version of Prolific v1.12.0 drivers because the ones you posted are not for Windows 10, v1.8.0. One of the two boards might be defective I don't know? All I know is there a leg or piece of solder laying around that looks like it may have come off of the momentary switch so I will contact them through that link.

There are some chips that will not work in Windows 8/10 according to the Prolific PDF that downloads with the driver but your chip should work PL-2303HX (LF13313A) as long as it is revision D. Is it Revision D? Revision D is not printed on the Chip.
See attachments. I also connected it to a Mac to see if Revision D is printed there. I a revision 3 from the Mac screenshot and a "d" in the location ID.

it is not HXD, it is PL-2303HXA, as LF13313A indicates.
Windows 8/8.1/10 are NOT supported in PL-2303HXA (EOL) chip versions.
P/N of HXD version chips end with D letter. for example:

Since this board is relatively new I thought they would have the most recent chip? None of my systems have windows 7 so these boards won't work for me. Is there plans on updating this chip anytime soon?

Thanks for all the help. Ok one final question. If I find a Revision D chip will, can it take the place of this Revision A chip without any other modifications to the Board. Would Mike Know? I know how to remove and re-solder these type of chips easily and I can find the Revision D for real cheap. I just want to make sure their will be no issues with current draw or any engineering changes like resister/cap/diode etc changes that would need to be made in order to swap out the chip.

Won't work some Pins are different such as a Ground pin and a couple of others. Well it looks like this Board is not going to work for me unless I can get a windows 7 machine!!

Thanks Again will look into getting that chip instead. Only difference is on the HXA pin #19 has No Connect (NC) while on the TA it is designated as Reset_N. If I where to be directly swap it out on the Black Flash USB+ would this pin need to remain off the pad or it would not matter since this trace probably goes no where on the original PCB?

Hey an update. I soldered that chip "PL2303TA" and everything works 100% in windows 10 64 bit now!! Maybe Mike will update those boards eventually to the fully compatible chip? I have not passed this along to him but he did reply that it would work if I were to replace that chip with the one you mentioned.
