The pin out for the RF transmitter is too close to the display board. How do I fit it in?

you can use a flexible cable to make the connections, after all there are only 3 wires.
thanks

Thank you... I just bought some male female jumpers. That will work

I set up and tested the transmitter with RF Toy. I can control the outlets with the recorded codes and the transmitter. When I installed it (using extensions) to the OP board, as soon as I turn it on and the test power socket is nearby, it does not work it "jams the signal and even the remote does not work. When I move a distance away, the remote works so I thought it might be a problem that it is so close to the transmitter. However, I would not think that the transmitter is active when no command is being sent. If I disconnect the data pin, the socket works normaly close to the transmitter. so, when all is hooked up, I put the power socket far enough away, but not too far (it works at this distance with the transmitter plugged into RF Toy) and send the on or off command to OP, it does not work.
Have you tested your board with the rf transmitter and confirm stable operation? Perhaps something is wrong in the circuit. This is one of the reasons I bought your Smart controller so I could also control power outlets.
Thanks for your help.

How did you power your receiver?

Not sure what you mean by "power the receiver". I got the correct codes for the transmitter using the receiver on the RF Toy. I then put the transmitter in the RF toy and confirmed the codes and transmitter work by turning on and off the power socket with the RF toy and the subject transmitter. Upon connecting that transmitter to the OP and putting in the hex code for that power block as read from the RF Toy, it does not work and seems to be transmitting a signal as soon as you power on without sending the command (this is shown by the fact that the power socket when close to the transmitter in the OP the regular remote does not work until you move the socket far away from the OP board.)
There is no "receiver" involved after learning the code in RF Toy. Only receiver is the power socket when plugged into my AC outlets.
Thanks

got it working with firmware update and using the 3v pin on EXT instead of 5V on RF pin
