Connecivity Kit V3 and PMT Issues, Never Extracts Key

Sorry if this is not supposed to be a new topic, I browsed through quite a few pages and didn't find a similar situation.
What I have:
-Lite On 83850Cv2 (v2 because L083info doesn't work, bummer)

-JF 1.79, 1.84, and 1.85 -->have tried multiple times with each version but still no luck
-SATA connection to first slot on motherboard, believe it shows up as 0xF900
I have followed the wiki page here:

*Problem?* I believe I have a VIA chipset, the motherboard driver is VIA VT6307, is this the same as a VIA chipset? I almost think that this is the problem, but if it was I don't think I would be able to get as far as I am (recognize everything in JF and what not).
The Situation:
-Have everything connected and JF is able to recognize my drive.
-Running Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005...rockin it old school!
-I click PhatKey, click Yes, turn off, probe and hold it on MPX01, turn on and wait but never get 0x52 it always tells me PhatKey failed.
-->I also have followed the JF tutorial and no luck there. There is a part on their tutorial that shows how to disable the VIA drivers so (under device manager it is in the SCSI portion) so that your computer doesn't freeze. I have looked for these but found none on my comp, but I believe this is because I am not using a RAID PCI SATA Controller, but the one actually on my motherboard.
I have tried different variants including probing first then power cycle, and many others. I've put the drive back together and it works just fine.
Any suggestions? I'm incredibly confused (and a total n00b) and don't know how to proceed.

P.S. Sorry if there is too much / not enough info, as a n00b I am not sure what you guys will need to help me and what is unnecessary.

What is your dashboard version? This is very important now.

yes im almost positive its your chipset. it's a via chipset, but it may not be compatible with 360 drives though. if the following doesnt work, buy a via 6421 sata card from our store.(know to be compatible with all phat 360 drives, though to write to lite-on's you have to disable the drivers to the card. the card will work without drivers, but only do this when you write to lite-ons. (will stop the lite-on freeze).
i remember when i had my phat console, and was dumping my dummy.bin,inquire.bin,etc for the first time. i charged up the pmt probe and tried it without it being connected to the 360 connectivity kit, and i always got phat key failed.
try this:
leave pmt probe connected to connectivity kit.
open jf.
refresh port.
make sure drive is listed.
refresh again
click phat key
should get msg: to resend the command you should click yes, then power off drive, probe mpxo1, then power back on.
click yes, then power off drive via 360 connectivity kit,probe mpxo1 (put pmt needle flat against the mpxo1 pad (and dont move probe at all), then turn power back on via connectivity kit with other hand or get some else to turn it on when you tell them.
when you turn on power back on, be watching in the log of jf for any status ( most common 0x52), as soon as you see a status appear lift the probe off mpxo1. within a few seconds you will see extract complete!
this is the most important part: first ensure probe is removed, power off drive on connectivity kit, count 1001,1002,1003,1004,1005.. as you finish saying 1005 power on drive then immediately hit OK. you will be prompted to save either dummy.bin (if checked) or all bin files. try this and let us know
if this doesnt work, then its your onboard chipset, and you need via 6421 sata card!
