I recently attempted to flash my Lite-On 9504 using the solderless kit using the XBOX 360 Liteon 83850-V2 / 93450 Solderless Key Dumping tutorial. After making the cuts I used the prongs to attempt to get the keys. I tried both DOSFlash 1.9 and the latest Jungleflasher but always ended in the status of 0x80, 0x52 or 0x51. I know that it is supposed to be 0x72. I am positive the cuts and prongs are in the right places. I have also tried all 4 different type of resistors but always got the same results. I thought the cuts may have been the problem because they may not have been deep enough so I kept making the cuts deeper and still got the same status. So I tried to make the cuts even deeper one last time but now the drive doesn't even read at all. I was wondering if anyone could help me with either getting the status of 0x72 and/or getting the drive to read. I also have Silver conductive glue to retrace the cuts if necessary if all else fails but I would like to extract the keys before I have to do that. Thank you in advance.

LiteOn Slim 9504 should be able to dump without trace cutting. To dump a 93450c drive, a good indication is that the drive cannot be recognized. The main goal now is to be sure that all your connections on the CK3 are correct (make sure there is no open circuit and also use a 20ohm resistor) and make sure you are touching the right contact points correctly without slipping away your hands. Retrace using this method with silver glue exactly where the white-bolded line points to the pads before following the tutorial: http://www.tiaowiki.com/forums/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=79.0;attach=73;image Make sure silver glue doesn't touch the black line (clean it off if it does). Also, wait for it to dry for 6hours and then use your PMT probe to dump. So there are 5 pads in total that need to be rejoined with silver glue.
You may want to try dumping the key first before attempting to rejoin the traces. Normally the drive won't spark when it is powered as long as no glue has been applied yet. Do these 15 steps first before attempting the rejoining process below...

Sorry for the late reply. Thank you for replying and your answer. It was very helpful. So, I was wondering can I retrace the cuts I made with the silver conducting glue and then use the new kit on the drive. Also, could you link me to a tutorial for this new kit please?
