I ask, answer
yes and it is better to go with
TUMPA v2:
<gavenkoa> Hi! Can I use TUMPA board for debugging ARM MCU through JTAG/SWD?
<zapb_> gavenkoa, afaik, yes
<gavenkoa> Thanks. I ask on dedicated to TUMPA product forum
http://www.tiaowiki.com/forums/index.php/topic,4329.0.html and they
reccomend to ask here.
<zapb_> gavenkoa, you should ask PaulFertser :)
<PaulFertser> gavenkoa: tumpa v2 or v1? Do you need JTAG or SWD?
<PaulFertser> gavenkoa: short answer: tumpa v2 can be used for both jtag and
swd, tumpa v1 can be used for jtag without tweaks and for swd
with one additional external resistor. Yes, you can debug many
ARM cores with it. If you ask a more specific question, I'll
likely have a more specific answer.
<gavenkoa> Seems that nowdays only TUMPA v2 available for purchasing from
official store...
<gavenkoa> FT232H/FT2232H have large number of interfacing capabilities. I
look for a cheap board, ready for ARM programming and also for
UART/SPI/I2C sniffing/communication and was not sure if debugging
capabilities as only found flashing examples.
<gavenkoa> Thanks for support!
