Hi,
I have a WRT54GS V3 and I'm trying to load the CFE. Sometimes the CPU goes into DEBUG sometimes not but in all cases when i try to -backup or -flash a CFE file, I get the Unknown or No Flash Chip detected message. I tried the /Noreset, /Nodelay switches. I did a successful backup earlier but had a problem loading a CFE file after that. Kept getting some dma message. In a 54GS V3 CFE file i had changed the MAC addresses but afterwords found out that I didn't have to. Now I want to install the factory CFE.
Thanks....

Fantastic....thanks Volkan! I got it pinging now.....just one more step to go! I now have to TFTF Hamnet firmware in it now. It's a .bin file that is normally loaded into a router that contains original linksys software on it already. I'll be loading into an empty memory so I need to investigate a little before I try it. If you have any insight I'd appreciate it...but thanks for all the help so far!!
Thanks,

It should be same for loading into an empty memory.
TFTP doesn't check currently installed firmware, AFAIK. But checks uploaded firmware if it is a valid firmware image.

Linksys WRT54GS v3.0 is also supported by DD-WRT Firmware.
For ease-of-use, you may want to consider installing DD-WRT firmware.
