Hi guys
First I want to say thank you all for the great job y'all do with the site and with all the awesine TIAO products.
My problem is the following I have a Connectivity Kit V3 probably two or more years old and I just got a POGO MO THOIN (PMT) solderless binary Extractor to read a few liteon key, followed the tutorial from top to bottom, but I can't seem to get the blue light to come up, I tried messign aroud with the alligator clips multiple times and it doesn't work at all.
1. What else can I do
2. How can i test my PMT to make sure it works and it's not my CKV3 that's broken?
3. Can I use Solderless Extractor Serial Addon to extract the key from liteon instead of using my PMT?
Thanks in advance.
P.S. I added a copy of my set up, just in case y'all are seeing something i'm not.

i know when i hook mine up, and this sometime happen i check the alligator clips on the connectivity kit. they may look like there connected, but not. when you turn connectivity kit on does the Led's come on(on connectivity kit?).
if they do check clips on connectivity kit. if they dont, try different molex. if you have multi meter, you can see if there is voltage by touching black lead to "GND PAD", and red lead to "3.3" pad.
also enclosed two pics of before & after (adjusted clips at connectivity kit while kit is on til got blue light on probe)

Thanks for the reply lilpup,
I do get lights on my CK, my CK works I can eject the drive and JF see my drive, i just can't get energy to the PMT, I didn't try a different molex, nor use a multimeter, but I will and reply later.
Pup, can you feed the PMT straight from a PC Molex?
Thanks for all your help

ok if lights on connectivity kit are on when you turn on connectivity kit, then your kit is ok. the next thing i would try is making sure i got 3.3vdc @ pad like 1st pic. then i would connect alligator clips to connectivity kit & attach meter like pic 2. lastly remove clips from multi meters probes & connect to pmt like pic 3. if blue light comes on, its working. if not its defected
also if its working, leave probe attached to kit during the whole mpx01 process. charging probe, then removing it from connectivity kit to probe mpx01 wont work (probe will start to discharge its voltage and key extraction will fail everytime) leave pmt connected to kit the whole time.

I got it thanks PUP, had a bad alligator cable, tested both with multimeter and replaced with new cable.
I'm good to go

glad to hear. leave pmt connected to kit the whole time when extracting keys. remember to uncheck dummy.bin box in jf, so you can get inquiry.bin, serial.bin,etc. some only want dummy.bin, but if you ever need the other files you'll have to use pmt again. i recommend extracting all of them, so you wont have to probe mpx01 again in future on that drive.
again, glad to hear that. post if you run into probs

I've been using the 360 Xtractor Pro v1.1 with the v1.0 Spear for over a year now... just last week I needed to get a LiteOn key and I am having the same problem as you.
