USB Probe not reading keys Liteon 74850c F/W 0251

I am using the CK3 kit with the USB probe. I placed the probe on the R707 spot and I receive error reading inquiry data, check connections and retry. The software is reading the drive and is recognizing the USB probe on the Com Port. I have tried multiple times and keep getting the same error message. Please provide any suggestions.

each lite-on drive is different on where the half tray has to be. try different positions of the tray open. also look in the jf manual as it is more clearier on the steps.
