Connector Orientation

I have just received a JP 1.3 cable from DIYGadgets and at this point can't determine the orientation of the connector. There don't appear to be any alignment ridges. It is also very loose fitting. Is it simply a matter of it only works one way and just try it? What is the potential to damage either the remote or my PC/USB port by connecting incorrectly? Thanks

Hi, it wont damage your remote it you plug it in a wrong way, I will take a picture show you how to determine pin one and post it here, stay tuned.
