93450c trouble detecting - solderless kit

If i hold the red pogo pin in, my bios can detect the drive and I can eject.
If i put in the black pin, i am no longer able to eject, bios wont detect it if i boot with both pins in and dosflash doesnt detect any drive.
The tutorial said to cut deeper but I think it's pretty deep and the multimeter says it's cut.
Suggestions?

Did you follow exact the steps, e.g when to release and when to hold... this is very important. BTW, your liteon is 8/9 series, right?

If one trace is cut properly, then chances are the other one is not cut fully. Perhaps both are not even cut fully.
I have a brand-new revised version of the tutorial here. 15 steps total (Reading and dumping) - http://www.tiaowiki.com/forums/xbox-360-hardware-talk/how-to-read-and-dump-key/ It tells you when you have to cut deeper or not, and which trace is the problematic trace that needs inspecting. Remember to still check your CK3 solderless kit/pogo pin connections.

Yes, that was the tutorial that I was following.
I gave up and sent it in to a dude. He said the trace cuts were fine and he used a different kit for dumping the key and it worked.
I guess my solderless kit was just faulty.

Dude, thank you for the tutorial but it is somewhat confusing for newbies. I had the exact same problem with a 93450c drive 'getting detected in BIOS/eject button working' with red probe but not with both red and black probes. And I got so fixated (argh!) on that because it said so in your tutorial.
However, eventually I did extract the key with 'red/black probe not detecting in BIOS' scenario. Jungleflasher 0.1.75 beta 152 and 20 Ohm resistor.
