PCMCIA Sata Card not working

I have tried everything. i have cleanly installed XP, no drivers installed, removing the drivers after installing them, old versions of JF, new versions of JF, and NOTHING can detect the drive.
It says that it is a RAID card... I don't think that is the right kind of card for this, right?
I have flashed before, but I wanted something that was portable from my gigantic computer so I could put it on the table rather than ontop of my computer.

Download the driver for your PCMCIA SATA Card - http://www.viaarena.com/Driver/vraid_driver_v550b.zip Always use latest JungleFlasher.
Don't forget that VIA VT6421 PCI to SATA cards include an e-SATA port if your motherboard doesn't already have. http://www.diygadget.com/vt6421a-raid-pci-sata-controller-card-for-xbox-360.html You will also need a SATA to e-SATA cable.

I'm having the same problem. Tried a couple different laptops (all running XP x86 SP3), sata cables, power sources, 360 dvd drives, and a couple normal sata hard drives. Tried several different VT6421 drivers, tried removing the drivers as is suggested for Lite-On drives, and nothing is ever recognized by the system or by JungleFlasher. After trying everything else, I sent in the PCMCIA card for replacement, but the new one is doing the exact same thing.
I can get the same drives to be recognized on other devices fine. This really seems to point to the PCMCIA card being the problem, as everything else was tried.

I'm Glad That you posted this as I was going to order one of these and Now I have changed my mind.
